Says I have 1 Notification but I can't open it because I haven't given OSO any of my retirement $$$.

Well, you have posted a lot... is it possible you used to be Premium, and might have posted in a Premium area of the site, and now someone has "liked" one of your old posts? That could cause this type of notification, since you won't be able to see your old (but newly "liked") post.
