We called La Bargue tonight and they have no rooms for Fri night and limited for Sat night. So whats the scoop for rooms.

Tom you can call me at 832-236-6690.
James we got our schedule worked out and can go. Let me know what you guys are doing for rooms. If you all leave from Endeavor it will be great. That is where we keep our boat. Let me know the details and if we can get rooms at Laberge cool, if not the one Tommy was talking about would work. I think the motel Tommy was talking about is called the Inn on th Bayou. Look it up online. It looks nice and has some dock space. I sent them an e-mail to see if they have rooms and dockspace available. It might work if we can't get rooms at the Casino hotel. What did they charge you last time for dock space?

Thanks Tommy
Have a couple of rooms reserved.

We have hashed out a few different unloading ares. We have decieded to go with the orignal plan and leave out of Galveston. I spoke with T Roper this morning. He was going to get in touch with "Always Late". We as of today plan on leaving Conroe between 6-7:00AM Friday, will need to gas up and launch 5 to 6 boats. That should put us around the 10:00 to 10:30 time line to be ready to roll.

Where would be a good place for us to meet in the water? We will be launchin at the Galveston Yacht Basin.

Sorry for the changes, I was not aware we have guest comming from everywhere, and arrangements had already been made at the yacht basin.

No problem, we have to go that way anyways. We are not going to cut across the East Bay to Stingarees. We are not familiar enough with that route. We will go down the ship channel to the ditch. Give Always Late the info and we will meet you there outside of the yatch basin. I am not real sure exactly where that is located. If it is the one in Galveston Harbor, down from the ferry by Fisherman's Wharf, I know where it is at.

Gerrit - Galv Yacht Basin is just past the ferry landing and not all the way in to where Fisherman's Warf is. As you idle in to the yacht basin, the fuel dock will be on your left. Just past the fuel dock will be the boat ramp where they are all putting in. You can go past the boat ramp and idle while waiting for them.

Just a warning guy's - the boat ramp is steep so your exhaust will be under water if you're not careful.

Hope y'all have a great time. The float up bar at pool is a must. Just watch the area when running through Port Arthur/Sabine Pass. Don't drift over to right (south to bay). Keep it between buoys and remember that the buoys will swap colors (red to green & back) in the ICW. Stop your boat and get your bearings if you need to - be safe!
