need a horn for my truck....

OK well 2 actually.. a stock one, as mine has seem to decided not to work anymore. I think it could have been the tons and tons of rain we have gotten lately. the roads have been majorly flooded and things.. anyway.. I digress.. So I need the stock horn for an 02 Chevy 2500HD.

But I also want something that will, basically scare the hell out of people. I want to let people REALLY know thye pissed me off.. So I want a train horn, or something of that like as well. So is there anyone here who can help with with these? More so the larger horn as I know I can just go down to the local chevy dealer and pick up a replacement stock.

Re: need a horn for my truck....

I had several close calls towing this weekend, (DC/I-95 traffic)and wish to upgrade to something attention getting.

I do not want to go overboard, and want something hidden under the hood or under the bumper cover/grill opening.

Has anyone had any experience with this kit?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, talk to OSO Steve. A group of us rode in his truck in Sarasota and we have never laughed as hard as we did after watching people's reactions when he blew that train horn!

Re: need a horn for my truck....

My truck came with one. I think its an air horn style, has a little compressor mounted under there. The thing is freaking loud. Sounds like a train.

My girlfriend honked it the other day when i was walking in front of it, and i jumped a foot.

The only thing that sucks, is when i lock the doors, and the horn honks to let you know you locked them, it doesnt work. I guess because the trucks not running and it doesnt have air
