Default H1. Tow Vehicle, Will It Do the Job?

Getting real close to purchasing my first boat and I think its gonna be a 33' Ocean Express.
But I need a new tow vehicle Ive been lookin at 2500, 3500 and th f250,350's
But today I saw an OSO member photo of a Hummer H1 as their tow vehicle.

I have no knowledge of H1's specs besides that its equiped with a 6.5 Turbo Desiel.
Will this truck do the job?
What size rearends?
Hows the ride?
Noise level with engine?
If it cant do the job thats a shame cuz they look cool as hell.!!

Heres the vehicle I have in mind.

1996 Soft Top H1

the new alpha ones are rated for like 9k with w/d hitch 7k w/o.... i think the older ones are less, 6500 comes to mind for some reason... the biggest issue you will get when maxed out is sway from the flexy suspension... the same suspension that lets your crawl all over stuff will put you on your lid with a big load behind ya...

oh yeah, the H1's are loud (especially soft-tops), uncomfortable and slow (especially with the 6.5, the new alphas with the duramax are much better....)

Thanks
It sounds like they make for a nice off road vehicle I guess will just leave it at that.
Back to the 3500 with the western hauler package.

I had one, just sold it, 97.5 softop, they are amazing for what they are made for (offroad) but thats it. They weigh so much that right there limits your tow ability and forget about doing it for too long, the 4L80E will burn up around 50-60k without any towing due to high weight and temps of the truck. Mine went at 53K.
