Employee price question
Chevy has the employee discount (Suburbans) however I am wondering with the gas prices the way there if they are reaching deeper in their pockets to discount vehicles such as these that are not selling? One local dealer has 15 2005 Suburbans and they have been there all Summer.

Re: Employee price question
Talk to 32 Thunder Jason...he may get a better deal for you.
I would think with 2006 out you should get a screamin deal on 2005. Make your best deal last day of month, managers are always trying to hit their quota's...and may do something stupid to save their job another month.

Re: Employee price question
You can buy it under the EP price. The reimbursement from the manufacturer on the EP program actually gets the dealer backt to about 3 or 400 over invoice. So actually you have that much plus whatever holdback they are willing to give up. If they have 15 05's sitting I would think they would be pretty motivated. By the way Holdback on that unit is probably around 1300 to 1400 $$$$$$$$$.

I understand it to be less about gas and a lot more about sales economics nation wide. Problem for the whole auto industry, not just GM.
