02 f 250 7.3 long bed crew cab, power loss
anyone ever had this issue.
check eng light comes on when under load like towing boat or going to lake tahoe runnin relativly hard,
someone told me the turbos have notorious problem throwing blades, anyone heard of that??
did it stock now has gibson exhaust chip intake etc still does,
21k miles on it now,.

many poorly engineered chips cause overboost codes. are you sure the light came on before the chip??? it's very hard to do stock.

the light will turn on when the ECM see's 24.5#'s of manifold pressure, or 49 inches/exhaust back prsssure
easiest way to fool this, is to remove the little hose elbow from the wastegate actuator, insert a small ball bearing in the hose end, reinstall the hose on the actuator with a ty-wrap... and viola, another free 7#'s of boost just appeared....
