Correct rims and tires for a Towmaster Aluminum Triple Axle Trailer?

Guy I bought the trailer from said the trailer originally came with 16" rims and tires and the boat dealer took them off and put 15's on it. Anyway, the trailer is supposed to have 16's on it.

I know they are 6 on 5.5 lug pattern, anyone know the correct offset? Book is showing available rims are 0 offset, .31 out and .19 in. Anyone know for certain?

Also, what size tires would anyone recommend here? 235/80-16?

Would you go with steel rims and wheel simulators or aluminum wheels?

I have a 42' Excaliber on the trailer.

My last trailer had 15" American Racing Aluminum Outlaw-II Wheels. My current trailer has 16" (same wheels):

Check out the link above. I think you can order just about anything you would need. Lots of trailers come with them; and they are usually less than $100 each. Just make sure you keep the lug nuts TIGHT on aluminum rims. They will tighten over time.

If you go with fancy aluminum wheels , be sure to check their load capacity before purchasing. Some alum. wheel caps add up to LESS that trailer cap.
