Default Toyota Tundra, thoughts?

I had my mind made up to buy a new F 150, then I test drove a Tundra. WOW, nice truck, fast, strong, and quiet! Not as smooth a ride as the Ford, but it will sure out axcelerate it!

Any members have one?

I think they need bigger tires, the fender flares are wider than the tires. Real nice engine though!

My father is on his second one. His first was a 2001 and his current one is a 2004 double cab. He has always been a Chevy man till now and he loves it. I have driven it on several occasions and am pretty impressed. I doun't think you could go wrong with one.

Here its cheaper to buy a Limited axcess cab limited (loaded) than a F 150 Lareit (sp) loaded ! Buy $5 grand! The thing is really quite fast for only being a 4.7 ! The Ford just leaves me wanting in the power, other wise it would be the perfect truck for me.

Great truck, but... I have a friend that owns a Toyota dealership, I have bought a 1/2 doz. SUV's / Trucks from him in the last 6 years. I just got a new 4Runner yesterday, (love it), but I hear the all-new Tundra for next year is going to be killer AND possibly have a diesel option! If you can steal an '06, buy it - otherwise, I'd wait for the new one.
