Re: Chev 97 Dually
Wow, tough crowd
Only a crew cab (2 doors) but on the upside the brake system has been completely updated... new ABS module, calibers, lines everything! This puppy stops when you hit the brakes, no GM sloppy action.
Other than minor wear on the drivers side leather seats pretty much the interior is near perfect, the exterior has a ding in the lower passenger side door but other than some minor stone chipping around the skirt on the rear fender well, the exterior is extremely clean.
NADA low 13,9K mid 15,6K somewhere in between. It's towed race cars and boats it's whole life never used as a work vehicle. Clean and dependable, albeit a gas pig (but aren't they all).

How about at 2000 Ford 7.3l XLT Super DutyPSD 4x4 crew cab long box, class 5 hitch bolted and welded to the frame, fifth wheel and goose neck, never seen snow, garage kept. $20,000 firm. 87,000 miles, never chipped, New Ford ordered.

Dano,
Sorry didn't mean to hi-jack your thread.
FORD stands for First On Race Day.

Re: Chev 97 Dually
My fault guys, sorry......if you want to race buy a chevy, if you want to win, buy a ford.
Just kidding! There are all good! Just have not decided to pull the trigger on a dually yet....those old mint condition eldo converts look REAL interesting as an alternative tow vechicle. I would not want to back one into the water, so the boat would have to be marina lifted off the trailer each time. That would keep the trailer from rotting out though. Argg, too many decisions.
