Default Boat transport from Galvston area to DC

Never had anything transported before. Anyone have a reliable transporter to do this in the next week or so. I have one quote for $2600. Is this a good rate? It is approx 1,400 miles. He told me if I knew of a return trip he could work with me on the rate.

The boat is a 32 Sunsation (30'5" running surface) with a single engine, approx. 6500 lbs, no trailer. I am in the process of looking for a trailer as well. Current quote I have is to haul it with thier own long haul trailer and meet a local ramp in Northern Virginia.

I would be more than happy to transport it, but it would need to be on a trailer.

If it is on its own trailer I would try to help you. You can ask anyone on this site about my reputation. 909-********* Jeff Murray I charge 2.00 per mile one way with no hidden charges.
