Default 5th wheel & gooseneck hitch question

I may be needing to pull both a fifth wheel trailer and a gooseneck with the same truck. Is it possible to mount both hitches to one base plate? That way I can just pull the pins and remove the 5th wheel hitch when I need the gooseneck ball?

Anybody know?

There are kits that mount two rails in the bed (mounted to the frame) and you pin the gooseneck or the 5th wheel plate in. Only issue is you will have two rails permanently mounted in your bed. I have used them on my last two trucks.

I've installed every brand out there. There's only one company I will use in my store now. And there's also only one company my customers will let me put in there truck.

Check it out. Hands down the best product on the market today.

Why hack your bed up and have those ugly rails in the bottom of it when you don't have to? Why drill holes in everything when you don't have to? Matches up to existing holes in the frame.

Could you shoot me a price Buck, on both the gooseneck set-up and the fifth wheel companion together? Can't make any promises right this minute, but I am interested.

Buck 183 does that do 5th and goose neck? I thought all the hidden ball ones were just gooseneck?

Yes it does do both. Unfortunately the site can be missleading to understand. That site doesn't allow me to copy and paste each page individually. It always goes right back to the home page showing all products.

You have to buy the orginaly Gooseneck set up first. Then you have to purchase what they call the "Companion" fifth wheel hitch. This set up goes into the area where the Gooseneck ball itself would go. Look around at the different products on the site and they have very good pictures of this stuff. Much better than I could ever explain.

Kind of a tough thing to price out on the net. Both items are pretty bulky to ship. I know I could save you some money on the items over normal retail, but I think the extra cost in freight would more than offset the savings.

I can however tell you if a local dealer is taking care of you though.

Let me know if you still want some numbers and I'll PM them to ya.
