Thanks all

Picked the truck up the other night after they drove it and found nothing wrong. As of right now it has not acted up. Will try the EGR disconnect next time and go from there.

Sydwayz, if you are refering to the 7.3L, I agree . The truck I traded in on this one was a 97 F-350 that I never had any problems with.

I started the last thread and disconnected with no problems thus far. From my experience and driving style if this did'nt fix it I would know it!
