A Jap truck can tow 12k also, (not legally) but not as good as your GM. It is all relative. The suspension on the Ford is better suited vs the GM products over 12k, thats what I stated, plain and simple, nothing more, nothing less. I have both products and use them each for different applications. Jeff

Heard a rumor today that Ford will be building an F-450 with a standard truck body. Anyone else heard this?

Buck

The Fords to me look better, and the suspension for work is far superior but rides a little stiffer not being used. I just got another 07 F350 dually that I tricked out and have both a 3500 GMC dually on order and the new F450 dually which will be my daily driver. I will let you know what I like and dislike about both in Feb. Take care and Im glad you like the Nortech, cant wait to get mine in 2 1/2 weeks, just in time for the KW PR. JJ
Where did you purchase a 07 F-350? Didn't they skip 07 so they can release the 08s in January?

07's are in dealers lots now..

Thought the derated engine was a bit weird in the 450 myself.. Looking at the brochure tho, I may actually get to like the new dash....

Locally, Henderson Ford. The 07's are like the 06's, very little upgrades, a few new packages but basically unchanged. The 08, the new body style and new drivetrain wll be out around Feb of 07 and be a 08 model. Now I'm reading a drop in hp/tq for the 450 vs 350 has me concerned, I might go back to a 350.
