Dual Audio info?

I had a Pioneer indash DVD player in my old superduty and I pulled it out before I got my new truck. I ended up returning it to Best Buy after installing it into my new superduty and realizing the motorized flip out screen had come off the tracks during the install.. Instead of opting to just get a replacement version of that one, i got a gift card instead.

I really liked the SOUND of the pioneer but as far as features, it had NONE.. yes, you could hook up a million and one devices to it but you couldnt listen to the radio and play the dvd player at the same time (i like to party!) and there was no background or wallpapers available to look at whlie it was playing, just a boring blue screen. I mean, wahts the point of having a 6.5" screen with nothin on it besides the MHZ you're listening too. And it also didnt even tell you the NAME of the station, just the call numbers.. Hell, my stock unit told ya the name of the station!

But Ive been looking at a brand called "Dual".. Does anyone have any info on them? They make an indash dvd touch screen like the pioneer withall the same features except its not a motorized screen, it fits flush with the dash... and you can add images to it also I believe for backgrounds and stuff and I like the screen much better..

Has anyone bought one of these yet or have any opinions on them? I have $1000 on my gift card and I don't need Nav.. any suggestions from bestbuy?

They're alright. Seem to be a pretty decent product for the money. They're not top of the line, but seem to hold their own.

Have them for sale at Pep Boys. I installed a basic Dual CD player last yr in a beater. Thought of it as a budget stereo.
