We use Dodge, Ford and GMC diesels to haul our race trailers, they all have programmers and all do the job well enough
Not saying the Dodge cant be hopped up a lot. But stock to stock on the 2006 models, the GM will outrun them all.

The age old Ford Vs Chevy Vs Dodge debate will go on and on and on and ......
The real question is which one do you like the best? When you find it, buy it. Each one has its strengths and weaknesses. I have owned two of the three and enjoyed them both. Good luck with what ever you buy.
On a side note, red light to red light has nothing to do with how well a truck tows.(no disrespect ment to anyone here) Find a dealer that will let you hook to your normal load, tow a few miles and make your own decision. That is the best advise I was ever given.

Comparison test of the 06 models.
Remember the big 3 all have new diesel motors for the 07/08 models coming out in February

I am talking stock 2006 trucks.
I know the Cummins is capable of really big aftermarket power. We had the diesel Nationals here a couple of weeks ago. Very impressive power from all of the big three in the unlimited class.

I did a lot of research, and the Dodge DEFINATELY wakes up the most after the 3 aforementioned tweaks.
