Default 2007 F-Series Super Duty Opinions

Is anyone having problems with their new 07 trucks?

My 04 F250 6.0 PSD CC will be paid off in two months. It has 64k miles and Im happy with it.

Do I keep it, or trade it in for a 2007 and take advantage of the 0%/60month financing and 5 yr 100k mile warranty.

Bought a 07 F350 Lariat Dually in Nov........My experience has been fine, but since I bought it just to tow the Formula I've only put 350 miles on it in 3 1/2 months. I didn't get the 0% either, but I got over $11K off sticker and only borrowed about 35% of the price.

not really related...well kind of...but I just saw the new commercial for the Super Duty...capable of towing 24,500 pounds...is that real? Must be the F-450? Holy crap that's impressive. (note-this is coming from a loyal GM guy).

Bruce-are you paying interest on your 04? Take a look and get a price...payment is $16.67 per thousand based on 0% at 60 months. The key is getting a real price not MSRP or inflated . Good luck with the trade-in

I just did something similar . Traded my 05 for an 07 same truck F250 6.0 loaded Harley Edition. Cost me 15k for 90k kms or about 45k miles . All I did was regular maintanance
no bracks, tires or anything like that . I do this every 2 years .Works for me .

Saw a new '08 yesterday - F-250 XLT. Stickered at $49,500, they had it listed for $46k. This is for the brand-new truck that is just starting to show up on dealer lots. I found that to be REALLY agressive (or desperate).

I saw an ad for a 2007 F-350 Dually with a normal sticker of $46k going for $37k. Sounds like they wanna push the '07s for the '08s.

I just traded my 06 F350 for a new 08 F350. Had +70K miles on the 6.0L PSD w/ 5spd auto trans and not a hint of trouble while pulling some very serious loads. The new one has the 6.4L PSD otherwise loaded with options like the previous.

hey David

Do you notice a significant difference in power between the 6.0 and 6.4? is it worth jumping over the 07, to the 08?
