I am getting new tires and rims for my 2005 F-250 Diesel 4X4. The rims are Alcoa's and I believe they are 19.5" rims. Does anyone know what tire size will fill the wheel well without rubbing. Thanks for the help!

325/60's i think.....might need a front level spacer, but looks better anyway.

I've got an Excursion which is basically the same as an F-250.
It has 315/75/16 BFG's on the stock rims. They rub just slightly on a full turn. No lift. No spacers. They rub on the frame rail on the inside of the tire. It's not really an issue.

I've got an 06 ford f350 4x4 with 19.5s and the tire size is 265/70r19.5 which are 34.4 tall, and I've got a 2" leveling kit on the front and have NO tire clearance/rubbing issues. The 19.5s are usually between 6" and 6 3/4" wide so you can't get a real wide tire on them without running the air pressure low to get the tire to lay flat and if you do that you defeat the purpose of using the 19.5s.What brand wheels are you going to use? The 19.5s from Brentz and Rickson are forged aluminum instead of cast. The 19.5s from American Force are 6" wide and the Brentz and Rickson 19.5s are 6 3/4" wide. I did alot of research(ie: wasted alot of money) playing with this.

They are 19.5 Alcoa's. It is my understanding that I have to run an 18 wheeler tire on this rim. I want to go as big as possible without rubbing. Any ideas w/ big truck tire size. I know that the tread pattern is a block style tread. Thanks again,

Goto www.BRENTZWHEELS.com and look in the gallery at the wheels. Click on a few styles and they have the trucks with the sizes underneith them for you to look at and what type of truck. anywhere from a 245/70/19.6 265/40/19.5 285/70/19.5 seems to bee the popular for the 4wds

Scott, I didn't think true Alcoa's came in a 19.5 wheel with an 8 lug bolt pattern to fit your truck and the 10 lugs are gonna require adapters.,,ya might wanna double check your information. Anyway the best thing I can tell you is that in my quest to waste money I tried a set of 22.5 x8.5 Alcoa's with adapters and was able to run a 255/70R22.5 michelin with no clearance problems and the 255/70r22.5's are 36.4 tall by app 10" wide.
