I'm surprised, their tires are pretty close to being the same though. Ah, it makes sense tire guy said something about my tires only being available from Michelin for the Porch.

For a SRW truck, I would buy BFGoodrich All Terrain KO. Great tire, great looks, great traction when needed; and come in all sizes and specs. They are not the cheapest though.
Have 49,000 miles on Goodrich All Terrain KO's on my Hummer H2. Ride is great and wear is as even as can be. Rotated them every 10k miles. Just about ready to put another set on. Can't complain about these tires.

Check TireRack.com for a good comparison on all the tires available. I am going down to Tire Pros to get a set of Kuhmo KL78 All Terrain, 285/70/17 put on my Suburban. These tires have an awesome wear rating and are very quite (Dad has a set on his truck).

Michelin LTX ms has a 10 ply but are a little pricey, and the Nitto Terra grappler a/t also has the same tire, I prefer and sell the Michelins but when money/price becomes an issue I sell the Nittos

I've always been a Michelin guy, but my current truck came with BFGoodrich Rugged Trail T/A's and I'm quite happy with them. I have 32,000 miles on them now and they still ride as smooth a quietly as the day I bought the truck. They're smooth and quiet on the highway, and they do very well in mud or on the ramp.

I've been pretty happy with the Cooper Discovery AT's on my F350 Dually. I get reasonable mileage out of them, and they cost a lot less than the other brands.

contact mama tried on the boards, GREAT guy and an OSO'er, he puts on a poker run each year for National Guard guys and all. He also sells tires wholesale...

you can find him in the WKPA boat club forum, last one on the page. Tell him Dean refered you to him so maybe I can get a good deal on mine too!!!

Seriously, call Mitch, he is good people, and lower price, with no BS...
