I couldn't have said it better myself!! There's nothing like it! I quit racing in 95, mostly Hare Scrambles, Enduros, & Cross Country's. ( compound Tib & Fib fracture) I still have an XR600 that I play with, I would go take a pic of it but after seeing those beautful Macos, it doesn't matter. I was on a Hodaka Super Rat back in those days, then I got one of the first Honda Elsnores a 125, bored it to a 175, then a Penton because thats what all the fast guy's were riding, then an IT175, he'll of a woods bike!! OK I'll stop there!

Boy do I remember those first Elsinore's! Beautiful bikes. And freaking fast for the day. Nothing but great memories of motocross growing up!

I have Ktm 525 thats tagged for Dualsport rides, Honda CRf250 for the woods & Beta 250 Trials bike...hardest/most technical kind of riding anyone could do. Plus a TTR 125 & Kdx 200...I love boating but dirt bikes have always been my passion.

Tell us more.

Where did you start and where did you go? How far between spots of civilization?

My big fear these days is crazy riders- mostly kids- who have no regard for their own well being. I've been on some public trails and have seen these nutsos coming the wrong way down marked trails wide open on 4-wheelers with no helmets or shirts. One of my riding buddies got landed on last year by some a$$hole kid. Broke his shoulder, some ribs and his arm. The kid was jumping blind off of the top of a hillclimb backwards and landed on him. We made the kid walk back- kept his bike. Reported it to the local PD. I still have his bike- the kid never contacted my buddy about the injuries or damage to his bike.
