Default Rental trucks....

I don't have my new truck yet and have to move my boat across town. Do you guys know if any of the rental companies rent out any trucks/SUVs that can move 8000+ lbs? Something like a silverado 2500 or a 2500 suburban, etc

To move the 22ZX? From where to where? Hell i can hook it up to my Tahoe and move it for ya if you want to cover some gas.

Talked to a guy at the local enterprise... They carry Silverados and Suburbans but they don't come with tow packages since you're not supposed to tow with their vehicles.

Call Ryder and rent a 3500 cargo van or a 14 ft box truck. Both should have hitches. I have towed my 29 outlaw with one of my co 3500 passenger vans. No problem.

Go test drive a new truck and tell them you want to see how well it will tow the boat as you drive off the lot with the guy.
