That car is beautiful but for retail money (78K) I think the buyer wants the warm and fuzzy feeling of buying from an authorized dealer with Porsche certified stamped on the window. The color combo/ options are great but 5K off MSRP on a soon to be 2 year old car in a depressed economy isn't exactly a deal.

no need for it to be certified its still under factory warranty...ya may want to take a look at autotrader.com or ebay and see what these cars are selling for...$78500 is a deal and anyone in the market for this car will tell you that

Local dealers around me sell 997S for 5-7% off sticker all the time. So this car would have sold new from the dealer for $75k easy. I got 8% off my 2006 997S Cabriolet back in July 2006. Love the car and take it to the track (Sebring) a few times every month.

I agree with you 100% but in FL, 911's are considered volume cars whereas up north a dealer may only sell a handful per year. A steal woul d be high 60's on this car due to the fact it is soon to be 2 years old and was only 84K new.
