Unless you spend 150-200k on a trailer, you still can't get to 8'6" with a tilt. Even with the high dollar trailer that lifts up, tilts, and then drops back down, the boat is so vertical you will be screwed in the wind.
The 55 MTI is the schiznit though
I would suggest the 44' 6 seat and you are at 10'6" which you can tilt and be legal. Randy will customize it any way you want to make it "special" to fit your needs.
