I have a 38 foot long open flatbed/dovetail two-car trailer here in Ohio. A friend of mine used it to pick up a hydrohoist for his 382 Formula north of Detroit and bring it back. Worked great for that. It would need plated and new tires, but I would let you use it if you had a way to get it out there.
I am taking a job in Vegas starting in January. You going to be out that way?

You can rent an equipment trailer from any of the commercial rental places- you might have to look a while to find something. You could also strap it onto your boat trailer.
You can also contact a freight broker- you can get a 45' flatbed between any larger city for about $1.65 per mile
