The harsh ride comes from a much better suspension, you cannot beat a Ford SD suspension in my opinion, the EX also has alot of space inside.

My boss has a 04 Suburban, nice truck but after 3 yrs all 4 doors are rusty and the interior sqeeks like crazy!! aside from that it is a decent truck.

Mine's an 01' and it's kept outside and I don't have any of the rust problems you speak of. Surprisingly, I never heard anything about this...

Anyway... I'm not a chearleader for brands... I just know what I like and don't like!
