I had a 5.7 hemi in a short bed ram, 2004 model. It was one of the rumble bee trucks.......nothing more than a dressed up ram pretty much, solar yellow in color. I took it to a very well known machine shop for a complete head job, port and polish, stuck in a 6.1 srt cam and did exhaust and a few mods to the factory intake. Truck ran good for being a big heavy truck, it turned a best of a 13.7 at a 103 MPH, just didn't have the ability to tune it to the full potential. I went thru everything I could with mine except for forced induction. I watched so many with turbos and chargers do ghetto fuel management systems with extra injectors on new trucks it made me sick.....
I got tired of tinkering on something you couldn't tune, traded it in on my first s197 stang, a 2007 model. Just recently traded that in on a 2008 model.
