Ice Sucks

I got pretty lucky, just a cracked windshield...

I thought I was far enough from the trees, that is the top of a tree that rolled down the limbs and ended up next to my truck.

Soory for your loss...don't wanna sound like an ass...but looks like ya couldda parked it way away from the trees in the pic. We are long overdue for an icestorm here in Ga. I have no idea what I will do. I live in a neighborhood full of trees. Have ta have permission from the POA ta cut anything over 6" in diameter. I must admit that's what draws me here but I quiver at the thought of ice.

Hope you guys thaw out soon and get some power back. Plenty of Ga powerguys heading your way to help!

Wifes vehicle was parked next to it, she left for town when the storm started and I did not even think about moving it to the center of the drive. Her and the kiddo are at the inlaws. I am keeping the house safe with a genset and fireplace. I have been out of power since Monday 1AM and told a week to get back up.
