'03 LB7 with 130k........all I do is change oil every 5k, fuel filter every 15k, trans filter every other oil change, and turn the key when I want to go somewhere. ZERO problems with it.

Unless of course you like breaking down, or driving a dodge. (I own a 2000 f-350 7.3). So its not brand loyalty, its just the reality of a really superior drive train.

I'll have to agree the older ones were ugly, but I like the 07s and 08s.

Nothin is better than a cummins motor....would be a great fit into a chevy with a solid front axle.

06 Duramax, 62k miles, worked hard every day, nothing but fuel and filters except for a sticky egr valve at 12k miles, I think.

I've been running an '04 LB-7 for 4yrs now and it's towed lots of boats with no problems. Never done anything but tires, oil, and fuel filter 70K mi. It's a 2500HD and it pulls better than our shops F-550 w/ 7.3.

Our 07 pulls great with zero problems (of course I've only got 15k miles on it so far).
I think whoever said that you don't see much posted about them 'cause they just keep running is right on... Ford owner's have a lot to talk about, like how to fix their truck
