Default When 14' 2" just isn't "quite" enough.....

I witnessed a true tragedy this afternoon. A transport company was moving a relatively new Blue Hulled 36' Searay Sundancer today. While making a turn under an overpass in Houston this afternoon ( clearly marked 14' 2") , I watched the radar and television domes get ripped and crushed off the top of the arch. The driver never even slowed....... Someone is not going to be happy when their boat shows up.

I watched a guy do this on the water @ LOTO. It was at Franky and Louie's. He was trying to go under the bridge there and had the music too loud and everyone at the bar was waving their hands trying to get his attention. After it was all over everyone just stood there and clapped!!

Boneheads.

Hey SanLeon, do you run in and out of the bay at Kemah? If so, I've seen you several times when I'm down in Houston working.

It was probably our resident long distance hauler doing a repo

Seriously though, there are some bridges in Houston where the road has been re-paved that don't measure per the sign.

We went and measured one and it was only correct for the curb lane, it was two inches less in the second lane. This was a year ago and still it hasn't been fixed.

That would be me. I had it dry stackek at Endeavor on the North Shore last year. Looking to get some more time in this year. If you are planning on being in town give me a buzz and maybe we can hook up.
