We had a Bully Dog programmer and full intake on our 6.0 Ford. Seemed to help power and mileage. Still have both if you are interested. Just pm me.

Oiled filters are said to be no good on turbo diesels cause the oil gets into the turbo and damages the impellers, so I have been told. I ran one and saw nothing of an improvement.

I use the True Flow XDI system and it made a real difference in power in my Dodge Cummins. These are dry filter systems.

We have not had any problems oiled filters. First was an Airaid intake, next a BullyDog, and now I have a S&B. Combined miles of 150000+. Not for sure on exact milege and power gains, but combined with a programmer and exhaust, I definately could tell a difference.
Just my 2 cents.

K&N are some of the worst filters period. They are great for guys that do teardowns on a consistent basis, i.e. racing purposes. Everyday drivers, they are no good. They don't stop any dirt. Cummins, and I believe International, will not honor any warranties on turbo failures if you use a K&N air filter, because the fine particles still get through them and ruin turbos.
