Brand spanking new. Black and loaded with every option. I believe it was the Lariot. He works for Ford and they had some kind of employee discount vouchers for a huge amount off new vehicles.

My accountant kinda pushed me into trading it in back before Christmas,,,kinda wish I hadn't.

I'd buy them again in a N.Y. second, I had the Brentz direct fit 19.5's with Michelin tires and for general all around driving/towing I thought they were fantastic, in fact I sold them to Mackattack from here on the board a couple of months ago, maybe he'll pipe in on how he likes them.

So the cabs and front ends on the 350 dually are not the same ones used on the 250's or even the 350 SRW's, also considering I also don't see any wreckers with a regular dually bed.

It is the same cab as as any S/D but it has the shorter frame for the wrecker body(thats why it comes in either black or white) its a commercial pkg. and the has a factory modified swb bed. Don't quote me on this but that was what a knowledgable commercial ford truck rep told me, when I was trying to find mine in 06.

Not so much, 4:10's were standard, and the truck that I ended up with had the Tow Boss pkg which came with 4:30 gears(which sucked at hiway speeds) but you could pull a house down with it, but at 70 to 75 you were turning damn near 2500 rpm's(factory 31 inch tall tires) so fuel mileage sucked BAD, that was why I ended up with the 19.5's with 35 inch tall tires, truck dropped to 2150 or so at 75 mph and the truck picked up damn near 4 miles per gallon at hiway speeds, and if I dropped to 65 it picked up another 2 mpg..

thats why i want to run the 19.5's on my tow boss...plus they just look good... I've got a spare set of stock rims and tires...so if i need to pull the house i can put one of my two pairs of stockers on...

I would trade a few mpg for the towing grunt when you need it. But then again, I am not logging tons of miles either.

I don't suppose anyone would know if you can get a supercab, short bed dually? I currently have an 06 supercab shortbed 4x4 and I love the short overall length

Did you have to lift it to fit the 35s?
