Take the hit and buy a GMC. You have to much invested in the boat to be sitting on the side of the road. If you miss one event because of the truck, what will that cost you?

I saw a ver similar thing in central texas last year. Dealership wouldnt warranty his injectors. Said he had bad fuel and caused problem, so this guy parks the truck on a flatbed next to the highway. Signs near the truck said all the info about the truck, mileage "2300" if I remember right, VIN number, dealerships owners name, etc. The best is when he pulled it thru the towns 4th of July parade with all that info.

Dodge Or Chevy Will Be A Big Disappointment After Pulling With The Ford Not To Mention The Ford Is All Around Better Truck. Not All Fords Are Having These Problems So Hopefully You Will Get A New One From The Lemon Law. Thats My 02 As Ive Been Around Them All And The Ford Rules.

Good Luck Chuck

Don't think you can get the lemon law if its got commercial tags or you registered it in the business name.At least thats the way it is in NJ.The problems you described are common with this motor.

For what its worth I love my GMC duramax allision good luck

In NY it can be registered to a business and still qualify. I primarily use it for my boat which is personal and easily verifiable.

I don't know if Dodge or GM customer service would be any better, but just based on the way I've been treated by the customer resolution specialist I will never buy a Ford product again. Hopefully some of you will feel the same way after seeing what I am going through.

So the customer resolution specialits was very prompt and called me at 9a.m. this morning asking what she could do for me. She informed me that she didn't understand why I was calling because she had told me Fords position on this matter last September, I informed her that I was calling because the truck is there again!!!!!!, she replied that she knows but their position has not changed. After about 20 minutes of me asking exactly what her job was if there is never going to be a resolution other than doing what the warranty says they have to do, I realized I was getting no where. I asked to speak to her boss and that option was not available. She informed me that the dealer field rep is the person who makes buy backs or adjustment decisions and he will not meet with customers. I must admit that I got a little heated during this runaround and threw out a couple of F-bombs. I later called the dealership and demanded a face to face meeting with the field rep. The dealership later informed me that he would meet with me but he has no authority to do anything about it and I will probably aggravate myself further. Now for the real kick in the ass, the customer resolution person that I got hot with called the dealer and told them to not work on the truck until I provide maintaince records for the truck because the radiator is not included in the powertrain warranty (the same radiator that has failed three previous times!!!). I have the paperwork coming for a try at a lemon law case and if that does not workout I will just have to eat the loss and get a new truck. What am I suppose to do about the rest of our very short boat season in NY???

Ditto... Buy a dodge although with the current state that they and GM are in you may want to buy a new one after they come out of the bankruptcy deal as rumor has it the older ones may not be covered.
