Hey guys what are you getting for fuel mileage on your DBZ Duramax engines preferably in a 2500 4x4 crew cab short box.

I average around 16.5 with mine around town. If I am lucky I can get 18.5 on the highway. I get around 12.5 on the highway towing 9000lbs boat. I get 10.5 towing an enclosed car trailer on the highway. Hope this help. Jeff Wurl

I used my buddys standard cab 4x4 hd 2500..if i kept it at 2000 rpms i would get 22 mpg...4.10 gears and 285 75 16 tires.

o and its bone stock..

Also this was going from chicago to missouri..all flat land and no hillls,,it may change on hilly terrane..

try "wait for mr performance " in Indiana Jesse can pull 3 mpg from a 6.0 with his milage tune. it will never be a duramax but can improve the milage

The LBZ will get considerably better fuel economy than the LMM.
