19.5's on a GMC Dually

Anyone switched the 17's to 19.5's? Im wondering if you ruin any ride quality when this is done.
Thanks
Anthony

Here is mine with southwest wheels 19.5 conversion with 10 lug adapters. I am running 245 70 19.5 michelin XZE's I have right at 50,000 miles on this set up with 0 problems and they ride great. I would not hesitate to do it again and I pull very heavy weight. I have had two sets of direct bolt 19.5s and I would not do either one of those sets again for what I do with the truck.

I couldn't find 19.5s for your truck on their site. Why wouldn't you use the direct bolt ons? I hate the roundhole look.

Which toyhauler is that? We looked at several last wkend at the Dallas show and we liked the Heartland Cyclone 3950 the best.

The direct bolt-on Driv Don 19.5s look great on those trucks.

The drives were the first set of direct bolt 19.5's I had. The chrome was of poor quality and they are cast in china. The runout in them is horrible. They are also lug centric.

Had a set of Brentz....experienced cracking. Again....no luck with the direct bolt 19.5s.

With the 10 lug conversion.....you get an alcoa wheel that is straight as an arrow. They are hub centric. The wheels are 7.5" wide instead of 6" so it fills out the tire and reduces walk and sway substantially as the sidewall is not all ballooned out. The arrowcraft spacers on the 10 lug conversion are a precision spacer. All this stuff you read about spacers is nonsense. I have yet to talk to ANYONE that ACTUALLY HAS 8 to ten lug spacers that has had a problem.
