Trailer bearing maintenance ?
How often does everyone (well those that do) change or repack their wheel bearings?
I did mine in 2007, compete replacement of all bearings & seals and I grease them regularly, I just did a check on the wheels before the winter layup and found one of the wheels bearings completely shot and two others needing to be repacked.
I do not put a lot of miles on the trailer but do put it in and out of fresh water about 10 times a month in the summer.

Personally... I grease mine and check tire pressure before every LONG road trip. Every spring I have them packed and inspected by a local semi trailer place. Just my .02 because afte purchasing the boat I was heading down the interstate at 80MPH and looked back to see a rocket of fire shooting ot of a middle tire...previous owner didn't maintain it correctly and I eded up spending 2grand redoin every hub and bearing on th whole trailer to make sure it and the brake system was right. Save yourself the big bucks by being anal retentive about preventative maintenance. As far as hold up time. Make sure and use a water resistant grease. I even step up and use synthetic Mobil grease in mine, and they are more commonly torn up from boat that make hard pivoting turns alot from my inspectons.
