Default Need suggestion for safety chain/strap

My last boat weighed 2000lb and had a light-duty chain with an S-hook as a safety chain. My current boat weighs 6000lb and I am about to add bunk slides to assist it on and off the trailer. The previous owner didn't use the trailer and it came with no safety chain. I replaced the winch cable with a 20,000lb-capacity strap, but what should I be using as a safety? Chain? Strap? Turnbuckle?

What is commonly used on bigger boats/trailers?

I am asking a very simple safety-related question. Will nobody take a moment to advise me?
