Trailer Frame Protection?
Anything out there or ideas? On some of the ramps I launch at the cross frames hit the top of the ramp and has taken the paint off and scuffed them pretty good. Need to repaint before rust takes hold, looking for ideas to keep from happening again. Maybe some heavy box liner wrapped there or a really tough spray coating?

search ebay for skid plate. About 18,000 ideas to choose from.
Important consideration is how to mount. Anything from double sided tape to drilling/welding threaded boss for mounting bolts.

I have seen where someone welded a trailer roller & bracket to the forward cross member allowing it to roll over the ramp peak. As for coatings, I have wondered if the Line-X truck bed liner type paint would work for the cross members, shouldn't stone chip and you can get that stuff in colors.
When my trailer was new, I covered all forward and underside surfaces with 3m Scotchcal paint protection film. It took alot of film and about a month to complete but after 3 years and about 5k miles no stone chips anywhere on the trailer.
