Default Party/tailgate bus... Look at mine.

Here is my champ. Use her for booze cruises to the bars when we cant be on the boat. also go tailgating with her. i am about 50 miles from iowa city and my HAWKEYES!!! She has been to every home game this year. Supporting my blue oval with a 7.3 IDI non turbo diesel with 142k on it. bought it from a church for $500.00. replaced all the brake line. fixed the fuel leaks getting air into the fuel system. replaced the saggy saggy front springs and some other misc repairs. Turned all the seats facing inward with custom bracketry and one of the pics are of the stereo in progress. she holds 20 nicley have had 26 in her.

i have some before and after stuff here. have put chrome simulators on the rims since....

First I ever heard of an IDI 7.3. I had an '87 F250SC with the 6.9 IDI. Louda$$ truck with cherry bomb muffs and echo tips.

Nice party barge.

Thanks guys... You will never believe what we painted it with. I am a tech... not a good bodyman.. Found John Deere black epoxy enamel that self levels. It was like rolling on tar. looked like crap when we were painting it. but 2 days later it looked like the picture above. could not believe it! it leveled and became really glossy. We get alot of looks driving down melrose (the street kinnick is on) people think its a high dollar rig. Got about $1200 in her so far. 5 trips to iowa city and around town have put about 2k miles on it.

and cat she is louuuuud. not too bad in the bus. i turned the injector pump up and she can run 70 no problem fully loaded. and she can blow some smoke. shes a 90. wish the banks turbo kit would fit in the van chassis there is one for sale here local for cheap but i doubt theres room. if she had a turbo... Look Out!

Fixxer, Did you get this stuff at a JD dealer? Price/gallon? Sounds like neat stuff could be useful.

Thanks, Randy
