Default boat hauler needed from Ft. Lauderdale to Nashville

I need my new to me 540 sundancer hauled from Ft. Lauderdale to Nashville. Anybody got any recommendations? I really don't want to remove the hard top and everyone says that is OK but want to charge me another 3-5k to leave it on... I guess I don't understand why because you need escorts anyway.

The problem with leaving the hardtop on it that they are going to have to verify all of the passovers, bridges, etc and reroute accordingly.

Did you ever consider driving it up? The guy I bought my first Pantera from made a couple of trips from Chattanooga to Florida with his cruiser. I want to say he said it took him several weeks and about $20k in fuel... and this was back around 2002. I'm sure it would be a fun trip

I would be a great trip but the 15-18k in fuel is what kind of made me shy away not to mention the being away from work for a couple weeks. Then you add it being spring and trees floating everywhere in TN, MS, and Cumberland rivers I just decided to get them to haul up here. It will be here on Wednesday aft... I can't wait
