I don't know that it is a problem. I just want it to handle better. I read some Car and Driver reviews last night and they had the same opinion. Don't get me wrong I am very impressed with the truck. The only problem mine had was the front Rancho shocks were worn out before the first oil change. The dealer replaced them. I think I'll put some Bilstiens on like Offshore mentioned.

SkiDoc.......Sounds like a good idea.

Rancho shocks remind me of something like Redbull and monster....all marketing. Its amazing what marketing does in america!

i dont undertand the concept of buying a new vehicle then spending a bunch of money to correct a basic funciton such as steering or anything else.

If its on-center feel you are trying to improve, shocks or a steering stabilizer won't help. The stabilizer is going to add damping to the system, which would probably degrade the on-center feel.

On-center feel can be tuned with steering/suspension geometry changes, gear tuning, and tires. It is also very degraded by friction in the steering system joints and components.

I would first just wait a few thousand miles and see if it improves. Components like tie rod joints are really tight initially. They will loosen up, lower friction and improving feel.

For your next set of tires, if you have off-road tread, you might want to try a street tread with stiffer casings and less squirm in the tread.

I had a 2" front level kit orig. with the 325's....when I got the Rancho 9000xl's they were not needed. I will try and take pics tomorrow of the shocks and twin steering stabilzer shocks...

Great points bustedbrick. The tires may have more of an improvement for the on center feel. Jassman, your friends video was excellent. The twin stabilizers will be going on. I will probably not replace the tires though til they need it. I noticed that the BF Goodrich's on my Hummer are much stiffer. The Hummer actually feels great with handling compared with the F-250.

I have the BFG AT on the 350 now vs the Michelons on the 250..

no problem man..he has other mods of what you can do to door weatherstripping to make it even quieter than stock..especially when the larger tires start to wear they make more road noise..

here's the pic's I promised. I realized after I took the pic of the truck, the driveway slopes quite a bit..but anyways was trying to show the level front end with the shocks alone..

Nothing like an agressive set of A/T's wearing down... HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM . Though I gotta say, very impressed by the Nitto Terra-grapplers for not only their cool looks and handling, but their very quiet even when wearing down.
