Ok, My .01. I have had both a drw and a srw. I don't see much difference in the ride or any thing other than when I'm towing a big sail (bumper pull rv) and its windy. I get more sway from a srw due to the fact of less side walls and narrower stance. My boat don't make much difference when its windy cause its pointy.

But I do love the look of a dually also. They may be overkill for some stuff but I do like them. I also like the fact that I can take up 2 parking spaces and people don't ***** as much.

Not an expert or a towing god. Just a normal guy that tows chit around for personal use.

You guy's are crazy with all this towing talk. Why would you tow your boat when you can just haul it like this guy. This way you are doing away with the need for tires, trailer tags. All you have to worry about is keeping a few $5 plastic wheels and you are good to go.

My brother took this pic, he didn't have the guts to follow him to see the carnage.

This pic makes a whole new meaning to "single rear wheel" !!! On the plus side you never have to check the tire pressure

Watching 'Shipping Wars' now. They are using a Ford 350 DRW towing a 53' trailer with 2 boats @ 35k across country.

He ain't having any problems towing. But then it is a gooseneck.
