I agree with everything you said above....i only run my tires at the max psi due to the fact i never know when i'll be towing somthing last minute and dont need to be searching for a filling station that has air available! Plus i like the firmer ride on my truck....gives me a slightly better seat of the pant feel

Thanks guys, I'll bump them up to 40 or 42 in the morning and see if that changes anything.

The stock Factory Tire is a Bridgestone Dueler H/L Allerza P285/45/R22. Sounds like the dealer changed the tires out. Did the Escalade come with the factory 22" or did you upgrade the wheels from the standard 18"? could be why you have a different tire on there.

I air the tires up to 41-42 psi cold. On my computer they showed 39-42 on my first mile from cold. I never thought to check the psi after that. The ride was not noticeably harsher and the handling did improve. I think I'll leave them there.
Thanks guys and Happy New year.
Mark

I run 46-47psi cold on my Escalade with 22" rims. Instead of the stock 285s, I'm running 305's.

I always run about 38 - 40 in my wifes Escalade, now Denaili
Door say 32 I think but thats too soft and, Tires say 44 on the sidewall. It rides and handles much better with the higher pressure and I have noticed no uneven wear on either of the vehicles. They are/were also both XLs.

Hmmm... I'm gonna have to bump mine up to 44 today after seeing this.. Got some Nitto 420S 305-45-22s that just started feathering on this inside. I have been running them around 34.

If your tires are feathering i would go have the toe-in checked...if that comes out ok then have then inspect the bushings....somethigns causing the alignment to shift around as your driving...
