My bros had 2 06' dmax's with no issues.
I got 20k of boat towing on my 06' with only issues from sitting (previous owner only put 1000 miles on it from 07 till march 10')
My dads 07' has 45k on it with no issues.

New Ford is simply awesome and now as some have stated, there getting to the point of proven, we have a 11 F 350 DRW at the marina, 35k since April, no issues, and tows 95% of the time, GM has always had a advantage with the Allison, no more the way the new Ford shifts and runs is absoulty amazing,, get out and drive and pick one, for me the new Ford is it for work, as far as overall appearance and comfort I personally would buy a new Denali HD

I have a 2011 duramax 2500 4x4 and could not be happier. It is quiet and smooth and it will haul. Averages 17 mpg. The only thing that would make it better is if I could get it in an Escalade. I miss my Caddy. You listening GM.

We have an 03 dmax 2500 with almost 180k miles on it get about 21 mpg hwy and 17-20 towing. Used to use for towing RV's all over America (still do from time to time but being on the coast, oil spill slowed us down a bit and got into a different business.) As far as the dmax goes, bought it used with 40k miles on it and it now has 180k miles, JUST last year changed alternator and batteries, and that is it for anything having to be done to it unother than maintenance items. Also later in 2011 had to go through front end and do a freshen up. But we cant complain because thats about all the money the truck itself has cost us in repairs.
sorry for crappy quality cell phone pic all I could find

No problem, anytime...just my ramblin on.. I just call it like it is. I'm not really brand loyal as you see...but have had more GM cars and trucks over the years but feel the Ford is the best truck..for now. BTW the 3/4 Ford and GMC have almost the same equipment and were priced with in 1k....the F350 was 2k more and the New Dodge was 4k more.. As of now all the big 3 have new trucks..or should I say new offerings, nothing is an old model, older drivetrain, or interior..all the prices are about the same, whencomparing apples to apples. My suggestion is drive them all, in the same conditions, same day and then make an educated decision. Good luck. Jeff

wanted to know if anyone here as one?
how many miles have you put on it ?
any problems ?
i'm looking to but a new diesel pickup in the next month or 2 and need something reliable. my 2005 ford 6.0 has been great up too about 3 months ago and its all been down hill since.
maybe someday Kenworth will build a pickup that actually lasts more than 100k miles

I have the 6.7 in a F-350 Crew Cab DRW......I love it I have put 20k miles on it without an issue 3 oil changes if you go by the on board computer although I have done it 4 times.....the only ***** I could possibly have is that if you let it idle you burn up the exhaust fluid that you have to put in it......so make sure you have exhaust fluid with you on trips because if it runs out your truck will only go 55 mph.....
Speaking of speed this thing has tremendous power and will get to 95 like shot out of a canon and thats where the governor kicks in but it has fantastic pulling power in the 70-80 range....
All in all I have no complaints!!!!!
A word of advise use the cruise control if you don't want a speeding ticket because at 90 it feels like you are doing 60 although I have no speeding tickets my uncle has 2 in it because he don't need to use that sheet he knows how to drive!!!! HA not once but twice doing mid eighties!!!!

I just came upon this video 5 minutes ago....very interesting but biased, and it sums up much of what I have stated.. The only disadvatage Ford and Dodge has is the Duramax turbo is more effecient vs the other two..and thats why you see 90% of these tests done at high altitudes. Whats important is pulling acceleration, ride, stopping and comfort in which the Ford won..How many people really drag race your truck...none of us that keep them 300k. Its all about the advertising dollar..and you see again they mention next year we will see you in Colorado for a test.. Again drive all 3..Im at sea level so its clear that the Ford pulls the hardest with a load, and with a load after 55mph..it just doesnt do it as well when the altitudes get higher. Good Luck they are all great trucks and I love the competetion, they'll only get better....Jeff

thanks for all the good input. i'm leaning towards the ford, since i've had good luck with the overall trucks (other than the 6.0 engine issues). the only work i did was oil changes and filters, brakes at 80k and tires at 90k. i'm glad to see the 6.7 working as well as it should.
