I think nissan even extended the warranty on the transmissions. Do that research first.

We have had no issues and have 83K miles on my wifes car. It is not a tow vehicle, but a nice little car. The chicks dig them . When driving down the road, look who is driving them. Chicks

A friends fatherinlaw had a Murano that he put 200k miles in 4 years and never had a problem. Still felt new when I rode in it.

Skip the H3. Anything built off the TrailBlazer platform is a pile of junk. They're impractical and useless to top it off. They were only made for people that want to say "I own a Hummer" but couldn't afford an H1 (or the overpriced 3/4 ton truck they called an H2).

Nissans motors are about as long lasting as they come. Same goes for the rest of the car. In terms of build qualitiy, fuel economy and techical andvancement no comparison, the Nissan hands down. H anything in general suck, but that's my subjective opinion. Wouldn't be caught dead in any Hummer

Look at what you guys like, cars are pretty subjective. You are the ones who shall live with it.

Good luck with which ever one you get

Personally I hate jap cars but the H3 has the cool factor but as far as cost to operate and such I would go with the Murano if I had to pick one. But if I had a choice I would look at Jeeps, Equinox, Edge, Durango.

Yes, the H3 is cool but I think I'd broaden my search a bit.
