Default Air lift or Firestone?

I have a friend who is looking at getting air bags for his 2500HD pick up. I have always had good luck with Air Lift bags, but, my buddy has heard good things about Firestone's kit.

Any input is appreciated!
Thanks!

Michael

I have has a pair of Firestone ride rite bags installed on 3 trucks...same bags...with a combined 500,000 miles! Zero problems. All dodge cummins were used commercially. Loaded heavy for 90%the of the miles. Sometimes as much as 9000lbsa over the rear which is more then they are rated for!

Good....stable hauling and towing

Bad...does NOT smooth out the ride like most think....

Same exact stuff. They are both made by Firestone. I've had both across 4 different trucks, all good stuff.

Only have experience with the ride-rites, I think their all good. They can help the ride when empty to help control the live axle bounce that's on all HD trucks (kinda like adding a bit more damping to it), but depends on how much you fill them up. Fill them up like your towing when your empty and you'll ride like a 1800's wagon lol. I have adjustable Monroe Air shocks on the rear of my suv as well, made a nice difference with towing and ride.

Over 10 yrs on Firestone 2500 Dodge- perfect. I think you need to run min. 5 lbs in them when empty.
