me too but automakers are going to try and offer everything that is found on the aftermarket that people like in order to keep/make/satisfy customers which in turn brings in more profit.

The only think is probably only 25% of people with 1/2 tons really need air ride. What is air ride, is it helper bags or is it a true air ride system. I would also like to see cost, as I justed added air ride to my F150 after rebates for 150 bucks, i would bet getting a helper bag from the factory would run you at least 500 bucks. But you would also keep a three year warranty on it and the manufacture couldnt blame your aftermarket bags for things that happen.

I'd say it is full air ride, not just helpers. Helpers don't help the ride one bit, just ups the capacity. I too have air bag helpers....but that 150 price tag you speak of doesnt include a compressor and auto adjusting ride height

im pretty sure the helpers help my ride, they keep the ace end up and front end down, also not as much bounce. granted not as much ride improvement compared to air.

No you are right a complete system would have been about 400-500 bucks. which leads me to beleive its going to be close to a grand on the dodge.

Cool concept none the less though.

I put bags on my last truck and it made the ride worse not better as I had hoped. I called my salesman and he said ask the shop if they took any leafs out of the pack. If they said no he said take it back and tell them to take two out. That made the ride much better.

Can't wait to drive the '13 Ram!

That"s what I thought but was pleasntly surprised. I put Firestone Riterides on my new SRW F-350. After the install the truck is 3/4" higher with the 5 psi min in the airbags. With no load the truck is riding on the airbags instead of the springs. I didn't think it would help the ride of an empty 1 ton truck but i noticed how much better the ride was in the first mile. I went with the wireless Airlift wireless 72000 compressor, very slick. $740 total Doug
