I never used tape untill i all most lost my cover, thank god it was day and I caught it, it had come unsnaped from the front all the way to the engine hatch, it was flaping in the wind, chiped the paint in one place,i coulnt belive it stayed on.

From now on i tape the front to about 1 foot down the side.

I use the 3m blue 2inch tape, I take it off as sone as i get to the run,it does leave a little residue,Not sure if the Green would do the same ,Just scared of the green being to sticky.

My buddy just bought a 42 MTI and on the back by the engine hatch it came unsnaped and beat the paint up.

I may start taping all the way around it.

Yep. Been doing it for years just like others. Keeps the cover from coming off due to the wind. Also keeps the cover from marring the finish on your boat due to buffeting.

Pretty simple.

Always used this when going a few hundred miles for poker runs. Would not leave it on for more than a week, but I have never had it come off even after 350 miles in the rain.

If you are short on time I have an extra roll.
X2, been using it for yrs and no problems, I usually tow at 80+. This is stuff is really tough. I put it across the front and down the sides to keeep air and dirt from getting under the cover.
