Default My 84 Chevy Crew Cab Dually - TOYHLR

Been asked a few times about my 84 crew cab dually so I figured I would do a build thread. Most of these pics were from last winter when I did the bulk of the work but so what! You guys just love to look at pictures!

I bought the truck for $3200 from a kid in Maine who just inherited it from his grandfather who had passed away and lived in Texas! The kid flew to Texas, put $1200 worth of tires on it and drove it home to Maine where he put it on Craig's list. Two weeks later it was parked in my driveway.

It is a Western hauler edition which has every option imaginable inluding custom bucket seats and trim. The truck has a 454 with a 400 automatic, a Dana 70hd rear end and only 98,000 origional miles!

Now with a softer ride and a reduced load capacity I wanted to offset that with a set of air bags!
