diesel today is $4.51
regular is $3.89

30 Gallon tank

The difference per fillup is........135.57 vs. 116.97

which is roughly $19-20 a fillup

right and you dont factor in gas mileage and just filling up weekly, alone your talking over a grand just in fill up difference than put MPG to it.

Its just sad I liked the diesel a lot but 1/2 tons meet my need for now. most of us have had to do some belt tightening in the finance department lately, and it just didnt make sense to spend the extra thousands every year.

Plus diesel oil changes, filter changes, additivies, etc. Makes it tougher to justify for most applications.

Dont get me wrong there is a need for it for sure. But the average guy isnt towing more than 7-9k lbs or going hundreds of miles every weekend.

The majority of boaters are going an hour or less with a boat that is 30ft or less, which makes it hard to justify diesel these days.

My F150 oil changes are like $40, same place was like $130 for my 6.0 diesel.
