Ya I did see that one too and got a kick how he says it doesn't shift but it couldn't be the trans. LOL. He's confident in his rebuilt work no matter what.

This one was just posted the other day and I looked at it this morning.

http://norfolk.craigslist.org/cto/4396041782.html

The rear gas tank was missing, windshield cracked, bad battery, tires are dry rotted, needed ball joints and tune up, had headers but passenger side header had no flange and was welded directly to the exhaust pipe, one A/C line missing, and there was water in the transmission fluid. That's what I saw in 10min. He said price was negotiable but I said thank you for your time but I am going to keep looking.

Back in Nov I went to NC and looked at a 1986 F250 ext cab auto 4x4 with A/C that was in decent shape for $1300 and I passed because I didn't want to buy the first truck I found on craigs. kicking myself in the a$$ now
Did you follow up with the second one listed here in Richmond? Looks like the ads been pulled from craigslist. The reason I ask is I'll be working in that part of town tomorrow.

No I didn't get a chance been busy at work. Got to take my dog to a specialist in Richmond Saturday so I'm going to hit up the Richmond Craigs again and hope I find something I can check out this weekend.
