Flow thru valve caps work good, we use them on a lot of the big trucks use the dubble seal alligator caps they seem to work the best.
The steel line extentions we have a lot of issues with then leaking over time we put them on a lot of ambulance chassis they like to leak right at the flexible coupler where they attach to the stem.
Or you could just get one of these stytems http://tsttruck.com , it is an add on TPMS system that you can get to work with you trailer too. The nice thing about this system is it monitors temp and pressure, we have found a lot of brakes that were hanging up a little or bearings that were going bad that otherwise appeared to be normal.
Example, if four of the trucks wheel ends are running at 130*f and one at 160*f something is not right. Just looking for differences. You can get add on kinds that enables one system to do multiple trailers. You can also set-up you own high and low alarms.
